GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING

This is  one of the main department in our school. It takes care of the general welfare of the students e.g emotional needs, material needs, as well as the well-being of the whole person. Our main objective is to create a holistic person who can fit well in the society.It comprises of a whole guidance and counseling team which is committed to helping the students to overcome day-to-day challenges as they go through their academic journey. The team formulates various programmes to help  address various needs of the students. These include; orientation programme for Form ones, academic programmes during which Form  IV students are taught on various Examination skills,Guidance and counseling programmes fortnightly and Examination prayer programme for Form Fours during the K.N.E.C.Exams.The team also collaborates with other departments such as Discipline to ensure smooth running of the school. Therefore Guidance and Counseling is one of the pillar departments and has enabled the school to rise to great heights of academic Excellence.

THE SCOUT MOVEMENT

The scouting movement is the most active club in the school. The service to God,self

and humanity is our motto. The duty to serve goes beyond the school. The Kaaga boys

scout members make visits to the poor, the sick, orphaned and handicapped. We have participated in district, county and regional competitions.

The new members are introduced to the club in form one and the school sponsors any

student who would  like to acquire more scout badges.

The Christian union is concerned with spiritual growth of its members, hence help

them to serve God’s purpose in this generation . Our mission is to utilize the available

opportunities to reach people and save the young from this pervasive generation. Our

vision is to use Christ as our guide to raise a healthy generation that will stand for Christ.
